Abstract:

It is clinically presented as erythema, oedema, papules, vesicles, scaling, and lichenification, depending upon the chronicity of the skin lesions, which are just a few examples of current terms. Atopy is a strikingly common finding in these patients. In Unani literature, it is termed as Nar-e-Farsi. The causes of Nar-e-Farsi described by Unani Scholars are: Mixing of Khilt-e-Safra into blood, indigestion, general weakness, nerve weakness, arthritis, gout, intestinal worms, incomplete evacuation, use of garlic, mustard, chilly, spicy food and extreme hot or cold. The treatment of Eczema also mentioned in the literature of Unani as per the etiology. The Clinical trials and studies were carried out on Eczema, which show extremely viable outcomes. A Case study was conducted in  40-year-old male presented with dry, itchy lesions over his ankle and dorsum of the foot. Treated with munsij mushily therapy. The response to therapy was evaluated by Psoriasis Area and Severity Index (PASI) score Performed at 0,1,3 ,4th Week of treatment, and photographs of the lesions were taken at baseline and after completion of treatment.
